COERR Kanchanaburi Organized Training in the making of Hand Sanitizer Alcohol Gel for Corona Virus-19 Prevention

   As the pandemic of Corona Virus-19 is going on worldwide and, especially in Thailand, effective COVID-19 prevention and control measurement were needed. Frequent hand washing by using soap and water or alcohol gel together with face mask wearing in public areas were basic healthcare practices that needed to be followed since we touched things with hands most of the time.

   COERR Kanchanaburi then organized a Saturday activity by providing the youth with training in the making of hand sanitizer alcohol gel for COVID-19 Prevention. This activity had convinced children and youth the importance of self-prevention, the reduction of COVID-19 spread, and the making of hand sanitizer alcohol gel for their use and for distribution to the needy.

   The hand sanitizer alcohol gel filled in bottles was easy for use and carry. It saved their money in buying hand sanitizer alcohol gel for household use. Moreover, this provided the youth with technical know-how on hand sanitizer alcohol gel making for income generation too.

   The activity was held in Ban Tham Hin Temporary Shelter in Ratchaburi Province’s Suan Phueng District, in which 85 youth of 65 females and 20 males participated.
